If ten of us were
sitting in a room, and we put a camera behind our eyes, and each
of us took a picture of the room as we saw it from our point of
view, and then put those pictures up on the wall, what would we
have?
Ten different views
of the room!
But have you ever
wondered what the room, and the world, look like, regardless of
your "point of view?"
In this issue we
have linked to various traditions of art that express and evoke
the ecstatic and which challenge our ideas about point of view.
And we are pleased to profile the work of Seattle artist Marguerita Hagan.
EATP looks forward to offering similar interviews in future
newsletters.
One day it will
have to be officially admitted that what we have christened reality is an even greater illusion than the world of
dreams. ~

Interview with
Seattle artist Marguerita Hagan
“My art is a celebration of the Love, Beauty,
Joy, Passion and Truth that manifests infinitely
through and around us. Whatever experiences
life may offer, these truths remain as constant
as the light connecting us all…”

"To be creative means to be in love with life.
You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want
to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more art and
music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to
it." ~ The
